home sweet home

Hi!

It feels SO GOOD to be home! (:

We have been in Alabama since Friday afternoon...but I am just now feeling like I have caught up on sleep and have some down time to finally post on the blog!

Remember our original plan to leave on Wed morning and arrive in bama on Sat night?? 

Well...We stopped the first night as planned, but then got anxious the next day and didn't stop at our other two hotels...

we just drove straight through.

It wasn't that bad though.

Once the sun came back up after driving all night and we got some breakfast, we were good to go! 

I still can't believe we did that..lol

So we arrived home on Friday..around dinner.

My dad picked up dinner and had it waiting for us at the house.

The past few days have been filled with eating dinners with family, making sure our furbabies are adjusting well (which they are..everyone loves them), slowly unpacking all of our stuff, joining our old gym and getting back into a routine, and just overall enjoying being home. 

We have gone to the gym since Monday..and I am extremely sore. I cannot straighten out my arms or sit on the toilet without being in pain..lol but that's a good thing! right??

Just as thought, as soon as we get home, Logan got two calls for oil rig jobs..so he is seeing what they are all about..it is a good possibility he will be taking on those jobs instead of going back to school. He would be making more at those jobs than he would with a degree somewhere else. I, on the other hand will still be going back to school as far as I know. :)

I think that pretty much covers it all for now! 

I was so excited to catch up on reading everyone's blogs! I found out that one of my favorite bloggers is pregnant with her second baby! So congrats to her! :)

Can't wait to get back into blogging more often.
