all smiles here

We are some pretty happy people right now.
I've been loving my new job and being able to stay home.
I'm so blessed that I'll be able to stay home with James.
The big news though:
Hubs finally got called today with his start date for his new job!
They are flying him out on Thursday and he starts Friday.
He will work for a week then fly home, then the next week we'll drive up to Oklahoma and check things out.
SOO ready to pick out our house!
We will be moved by March.
My baby shower is being thrown pretty early (Feb 18) so I won't have to drive back to Bama alone.
I just finished my registries.
I had no clue what I was doing. lol
We already have nursery furniture and we're getting his bedding custom made, so that took a lot off from what we "need".
We finally figured out our theme for baby James' nursery.
We are having his bedding custom made and have found tons of cute stuff.
I'm sure I'll have posts about that as we set it up.
I actually plan on doing posts of our whole house!
ok on to James!
Here is our baby boy (:

My 20 week ultrasound is next week.
They are gonna be measuring everything to make sure he's growing properly.
Excited to see my baby boy again!  :)

updates

Ok...lots of info thrown into this post. Bear with me!

I just posted about it being our 1 year anniversary.
Well...we aren't quite getting to celebrate today..cuz he is in Oklahoma.
why?
Well...he just got hired for the job we've been waiting months for!
Can you say one awesome anniversary gift?!
With that being said...yes, we are moving to Oklahoma.

Although, it is not one of those states that someone would getting excited to move to, I have to admit..
I'm excited.
I'm excited to have our own place and space again.
I cannot wait to start setting up our baby's nursery, unpack our kitchen, and cook dinners together again.
What makes things even better is I ALSO got a job.
You could call it my "dream job"..cuz I'll be working from home...on my computer...what does that mean?
I get to be a SAHM...and THAT really is my dream job.
So with him finally having a good job and I having one as well,
we are making it our number one goal to get all of our debt paid off...
then, we're spoiling our baby. :) lol
Speaking of baby..(didn't think I could make a post without talking about our baby did you?!)
This time NEXT WEEK we will know if we have a  Baby R(girl) or Baby J(boy) cooking in there.
After our 4d appointment we are going to baby's R us and I'm sure we'll pick up a few things..
then we are gonna eat lunch at Johnny Rockets. yuuum
chili cheese fries

1 year!

Today hubs and I celebrate one year of being married.
One year ago, we were in the Valley of Fire saying "I do",
after making a promise about 5 years ago that this moment would happen one day.
Like every other couple, we've had our ups and downs,
but we always end up snuggling in bed at night.
I can honestly say I've had the best year of my life..
I know that is probably about to change, cuz once the baby comes then I'll have another "best year"...
but that's what I'm looking forward to...
every year with Logan topping the previous one as we grow older and become even closer.
I couldn't imagine ever going through marriage, creating a family, life..with anyone else.
I love you Logan.
Always.

weekend trip

I know I've been missing for a few days..but only cuz we went on a little weekend trip to visit the MIL and her boyfriend. The trip was awesome except for hubs and I having to sleep on a queen size bed..that just did not work well for us. lol We are used to our King bed. I will never take it for granted again!

Let's see...We left after my baby doc appointment on Wed. and we got to their house late Wed. night. They live close to Nashville. We were tired, but that didn't keep us from heading out and getting some dinner and groceries for the weekend. We went to a place called Cheddars. It was ok. Not my favorite. After that, we went to Publix and picked up some fruit..and my latest craving..canned ravioli. lol When we were done shopping we headed back to the house and went to bed. I can't say we went to sleep...cuz I'm not sure how much we slept on that bed.

Thursday consisted of reading, napping, and Outback.
Friday we went to see The Devil Inside. It pretty much sucked. Friday night we headed to Nashville with MIL, her bf, and their neighbors. We had reservations at The Melting Pot. It was sooo cool. If you have never been, you should go. It IS expensive...but I think it's worth it. After we ate we walked around downtown Nashville. It was like 65 degrees..in January. It made for a nice night.
Saturday we didn't do much..just read and enjoyed each others company. Saturday night the MIL took me to Sips and Strokes. We painted sunflowers. It was fun. :)
Sunday we ate a quick breakfast at Crackle Barrel and headed home.
It was a nice relaxing weekend and I got to know my MIL a little better. We haven't spend much time together since Hubs and I got married cuz we have been in Cali and she has been across the country. I already love her. I couldn't ask for a better MIL. for real.

chicken

I just wanted to make a quick post to note that I finally am able to eat chicken again! Well, so far its only been fried chicken and some sesame seed chicken, but I'm making progress! WOO!  :) Let's cross our fingers that this means I'm getting my appetite back. I have hated food for months now.

2012

I have a few simple things I want to work on during this new year. I can't really jump on the "lose weight" train this year..at least till after the baby gets here..so here are some things I wanna work on/accomplish:

1. I am going to try my best to blog way more. My goal is for like 5-6 days a week.
2. Treat Hubs better. I mean I'm not terrible..but since I've been pregnant, I've been a little bit moodier than I should be towards him. I'm just glad he loves me and puts up with me :)
3. Eat healthier. Take my vitamins. Everyday..while I was getting sick constantly, the thought of taking my prenatals just made it worse..so I'll admit I skipped a few days.
4. Read more. I LOVE to read, but I seem to let the internet take place of books most of the time.
5. Take and finish my one last class I have and graduate college. (right in time for baby's arrival!)
6. Keep up with the laundry and cleaning better.

I'm sure I'll have different goals when baby gets here..I'll be sure to update! Speaking of baby (when am I not? ha) only 17 days till we find out!!!
