30 weeks 4 days

taken earlier today when I got ready for dinner at Fudpuckers.

(it was sooo good)

getting in bed cuz I plan on beachin it all day tomorrow. (:

THIRTY weeks!

I have finally made it to 30 weeks. 

I feel like that's kinda a big deal!

I just got home from my doc appointment and everything is looking good!

I only gained 2 lbs this time.

That means I'm up to 18lbs gained total. 

now I get to go every 2 weeks...which is a milestone to me. :)

AND when I get back from the beach I'm going to start going to all the classes offered by my doctor's office.

I'm especially excited about the labor and delivery class.

It's 9am-3pm with breakfast and lunch served. It sounds like it will be really informative..and I wanna know all I can about it! 

I have a feeling the next 10(ish) weeks are gonna fly by. 

I'm still only craving ice and fruit. 

I'm wearing all maternity clothes..everything else is uncomfortable.

I'm back to sleeping really good...not peeing so much lol

I got a bathing suit for the beach yesterday.

if I'm brave I might post a pic lol

I cannot wait to dig my toes in the sand while I sit under a huge umbrella and get some reading in. :D

It's gonna be a good week. 

Only thing that could make it better is my hubby..but I know it will all be worth it in a few months. :)

I'm really sad. Hubs isn't going to get to come see me for another 2 weeks..and it's already been over a week since he left. 

On the bright side, I have my 30 week doc appointment tomorrow then I'll be beach bound on Sunday for a week. Maybe it will get my mind off of missing him so much...probably not..but maybe it will help.

I've been feeling like I need to get more prepared lately. 

Prepared as in having my hospital bag and everything ready. 

I've got a few things put together and the little clothes I'm taking for James are in the washer. 

I'll post pics of the clothes later cuz I plan on doing a "what's in my hospital bag post" :)

but...  here is my diaper bag. I l.o.v.e it!

29 weeks (& 2 days)

I'm feeling huge lately. I'm quite uncomfortable already. boy, do i have a fun 2 months ahead of me. lol 

I have indigestion & nosebleeds often. My back aches and my feet and hands like to swell and my body will not let me sleep at night. I know, it's just it's way of getting me ready for the long nights ahead. I wish it would let me sleep while i have the chance though! lol It's not all bad, but I do admit I'm not one of those ladies who loves being pregnant. I used to want to have all my babies in a row so they can all be really closed in age..but I think realistically, I am going to wait about two years. I need to time to get my body back in shape for the next one..I think it will make for an easier pregnancy. maybe? lol 

I honestly can't wait for James to get here. I'm so ready to kiss those cheeks and hold him in my arms. I bought a few more things that I didn't have for him. The hygiene things..like baby qtips, baby powder, some bottles..those type of things. I also bought some small things for my hospital bag. I am gonna pack my bags in the next few weeks so I'm ready if something happens early. Last time I talked to my doc, she said she can induce me at 39 weeks if everything looks good to go. I know God's probably laughing at me for "planning" when I want my son to be born..but I really just want my husband to be there...and we kinda have to have a plan if that's gonna happen...but anyway! Here is my belly at 29 weeks. 

so lets talk details.

I have gained about 16lbs I think..around that anyway. 

(that was at my last appointment. I'm sure its more now)

I am only craving one thing. 

ice.

I can't get enough of it.

like I said..symptoms are, indigestion, nosebleeds, back aches, swelling, and no sleep.

I'm wearing all maternity clothes.

oh and it's getting pretty difficult to shave. lol

My 30..yes the big 3..0..appointment is friday.

CRAZY. 

lately

Well I planned on blogging more, but I've been too busy enjoying the nice 70-80 degree weather down here in Alabama. 

It's not humid yet, so it has been extra nice outside. 

Hubs drove me home from Oklahoma and spent a week here with me before heading back to work. 

One of my favorite days was when we went fishing. 

We ending up catching lots of catfish and attempted to filet them and have a nice dinner, but we ended up giving up and ordering already cooked catfish and slaw from a local place. 

It was quicker, easier, and I was starving. lol

It was fun catching all the fish and making hubs take them off the hook. 

He hardly had time to catch any himself. lol

We spent the rest of the week visiting family, eating meals on my gran's back screened in porch (which is where I'm typing this post from), and enjoying the time we had together. 

I was sad to see him go, but as of now, he's flying home Friday to spend another week..so I'm definitely looking forward to that. 

We have a fishing trip or two and a picnic planned. :)

I'm REALLY enjoying being outdoors this year. 

I cannot wait until James is here and I get to make summers fun for him.

Pool trips, meals outside, playing until he is exhausted...ah what fun. :)

Since hubs left, I've been spending time at my mom's. 

Here is my baby girl (the blondie) with my sis/mom's dog. 

I think he has a crush on her. 

I also have a little bit of sad news. 

We have thought long and hard about it and we decided to give two of our furbabies to better homes.

We didn't think having 4 dogs through.

We didn't throw a baby into the mix when we made the decision to get the last two...

My mom is taking Zoey and we found a loving home for Kora (the irish wolfhound) 

We were sad to see Kora go, but we know she will get the love and attention she deserves with her new family. 

She is huge and likes to jump and use her paws.

That isn't gonna mix well with a pregnant lady or a baby. :/

We will still get to see Zoey, so I'm glad my mom is keeping her. 

29 week update is next!  

hello April :)

Good morning! 

I cannot believe it is already April. Our baby boy is due in June...it is so close! 

Summer is right around the corner! 

Heck, it already feels like it's summer. 

My husband's best friend and his friend's wife are staying with us this week until their new place is ready. (they are moving into the duplex connected to ours)..so his wife and I have been taking advantage of the nice weather the past few days and getting our butts outside. I can't explain how good it feels for my body to get some sun and fresh air. We have been taking long walks around our surrounding neighborhoods. It's so nice around here. I'm sore, not gonna lie. Shoulda been walking throughout this whole pregnancy..but hey, some is better than none..right? 

 Last night I even went and got a pool. Something like this one. Gonna fill it up and relax in it with a  glass of lemonade in our backyard lol Maybe I won't get burned! 

Gonna go make me some waffles and watch an episode or two of Army Wives while it warms up outside.

I started over with season 1 and am watching all of the episodes. 

Love that show. :)
