kinda lengthy, random, update post

First of all, I hope everyone had a lovely Easter!

 This was the first Easter I didn't get to spend with my family. 

I didn't get all dressed up and go to church with my grandmother and

I didn't get to eat an Easter dinner with them. 

There was no Easter basket waiting for me when I woke up. 

It just didn't feel the same. 

I know those aren't the reasons for Easter, but it still made me sad that I didn't get that this year.

Logan and I stayed at some friends' house Sat night and didn't get to bed till REALLY late..so we just took showers and nap when we got home. When we woke up, we cooked some macncheese and veggies, made some sweet tea, and ate our delish ham.

Then we hardcore cleaned our house and settled down to Shrek2 on tv and played a game of scrabble. [:

All in all, it was a nice relaxing day. 

This morning our new California King bed was delivered. 

We're so excited. We both like to spread out and have our own space when we sleep...and boy, do we have space now. lol

 Step 1 to redoing our bedroom=complete. :]

Dinner tonight: dashi, teriyaki chicken, veggies, and rice. 

we even bought chop sticks!

mmm...can't wait! 

The getfit challenge is SORTA still going on. I have a few friends who are all starting Insanity together tomorrow...so I'm kinda just eating healthy, drinking water, and gonna join them. Right now is the perfect time too, since I'm leaving in 39 days and will be wearing a bikini the whole two weeks I'm gone. lol

I SO can't wait to be there.

hhhmm..The only other thing I can think of are my finals. I will be done with school by the end of this week. THANK GOD.

118 days

The planning for our move across the country (again) has officially started. 

We will be leaving Cali in 118 days!

We've mapped out the long journey and have an idea of the cities we'll be stopping in to sleep. 

We have reserved the uhaul truck and trailer.

We have send in our applications and deposit for our new place.

All this thinkin about moving and having a new home has made me excited about furniture and decor.

I wanna work on our bedroom first.

I have a FEW ideas.

I SOOOO want a headboard like this:

& paint them. 

I can't wait to get started!

GetFit day1 & the weekend.

Today is day 1 of my selfchallenge. So far, so good..but it IS only 9:30 am. lol 

I just ate my breakfast and I'm about to go for a walk/jog. 

 Here's what I'm eating today.

Breakfast: 1 cup Special K red berries

2/3 cup milk (I have to drink lactaid) 

Snack: a handful of blueberries

1 string cheese

Lunch: spinach leaves with

chicken

tomatoes 

baby carrots

light italian dressing

snack: special k blueberry cereal bar

Dinner: tilapia 

small salad 

& drinking lots of water! 

What did we do this weekend? 

Well Friday night we baby sat our friends' babies. The little girl is adorable is always makes my baby fever spike when I get to watch her. lol Then sat we ran some errands and then headed to the park for the little boy (Aiden)'s bday party. It was HOT..but we had fun. Of course we took the pups. All four of us were WORN out when we got home. Logan cooked us some YUMMY chicken alfredo and we watched the new Harry Potter. Sunday, Logan had to wake up and head in for duty..so I was home alone all day. Last night I went to the drive-in. I only stayed for the first movie..which was dumb and I was tired. I'm excited about this week being the start to becoming healthy. :]

the meeting

Last night we went and picked up our new Mastiff puppy. 

We named him Dude.

He's only 6 weeks and is huge. 

Luna and him are already bff :]

I'm super tired and have another stinkin test in the a.m. but first I just had to share....

This will be our little BIG addition to our family in a few days! 

His daddy is HUGE(240lbs). I hope he turns out the same as his dad. :] 

He's only 6 weeks right now and look at how chunky!

He's gonna be a big teddy bear.

I'm off to take another test & then it's back home to take yet another one online. I'm so close to being done! woo!

After that I PLAN on cleaning the house and doing laundry....

AND searching for an English Mastiff. :] I think Logan and I have fallen in love with them and HAVE to get one. [:

 I picked Luna so it's his turn to get a doggy..and I like his choice. 

We are gonna get a puppy though.

Just feeling kinda blah and looking forward to Logan getting home so we can eat some tacos and play cod.

Weekend Recap

So this weekend was pretty low-key. Here's our weekend in pics.

We liked it. It's about Marines...so I'm sure, like Logan, every Marine at that drive-in was picking apart the things in the movie that "wasn't like we do it" lol

It's the first day of a new month AND its Friday.

WOOHOO!

I'm so glad it's the weekend. 

I feel like this week went by really fast..but Logan sure doesn't.

 He had to wake up at ridiculous hours this week. I'm glad he gets to sleep in in the morning. I think I'm gonna sneak outta bed and cook him breakfast in the morning. :]

We don't have much planned for this weekend.

 Just relaxing and I have some more studying to do. I can't wait to be done with my classes. I should be done by the end of April. FINALLY. 

 I DO wanna go do something outside. Maybe we'll take Luna to the national park and go for a walk or something. [:

Oh and of course the drive-in is an option. I don't know whats playing yet. 

This morning has consisted of watching the newest episode of The Real World Las Vegas and drinking my caffeine-free coke.

 I'm also working on my "about me" post. I saw it on one of my fav blogs and thought I'd do one as well.
