4d pics and 27 weeks

My trip home was nice. Aside from being away from my hubby of course.

I got a pedi/mani, loaded up on maternity clothes from A Pea in the Pod (thank you daddy!), ate good food, and got 185 4d pics of our baby boy. :)

yep, that is what my tummy looks like from above. It doesn't look THAT huge in person. Must have been the angle I took the pic from.

I haven't had any cravings lately besides fruit and ice. Ice being the one that I HAVE to have. 

I can only see that craving getting worse as summer gets here.

My summer diet will consist of popcicles, fruit, ice, and other cold food. lol

I have indigestion and heartburn every now and then.

James kicks are getting harder and harder. 

I love each and every one. 

My next doc appointment is at 30 weeks..then I start going every two weeks. 

I can't believe I'm already getting to that point! 

We have done lots more work to his nursery..

It's been a long day, but I had to post this real quick before I go to bed. more to come!

Looks like I'll be going home a day early! Bags are packed and ready to head out at 4am! 

Can't wait to be home for a few days and see my family..and our baby boy! :)

new look

I made a few small changes to the blog.

It needed it and I like it..for now. lol 

Hubs got to come home in the middle of his work week yesterday for a day and night. 

It was sooo nice to have him here. 

I hate sleeping without him. 

I didn't think I was gonna get to see him before I headed home next week.

So glad I was wrong.

Yesterday we had a little date night and went to Olive Garden and got me a suitcase with wheels so I don't have to have someone carry my bags for me lol

no, I didn't have one until now.

usually I have hubs to carry it for me. :)

and I also got a ride set up to take me to the airport. 

( I thought I was gonna have to take a cab..before sunrise...scary. lol)

I am excited about going home for a few days..but sad Hubs can't come with me..esp since he'll be missing the 4d ultrasound of our baby boy. :/ 

At least I'll have the video and pics to show him (and you guys!)

My mom cleaned up and painted my old bedroom so I have a place to stay at her house again.

We spent our time together being silly, laughing our heads off, eating, and playing rummy.

I love it when it's a full house (no pun intended) and my sis, her bf, my aunt, and I are all there.

I hope it's warm while I'm home. 

I don't wanna have to pack any pants. 

They are getting uncomfortable! 

Skirts and dresses from here out please. :)

Until I leave, it looks like I'll be straightening up the house, playing with my furbabies, and watching some tv lol

25 weeks

I'm so close to the third trimester! 

The second semester has gone by so quick. 

I remember thinking it would be forever until I had to do that glucose test.

Well, I have the bottle of sugar drink and the instruction sheet cuz that's what my next doc appointment will be.

fun stuff. lol

The past week has been a pretty big one.

 I finally feel like my bump is obviously a bump..and not just a "I just ate a huge dinner" stomach. 

Hubs finally felt James kick. :)

I've had a bad nose bleed.

indigestion has started. 

Cold water makes it worse? :/

I've been craving ice, mexican food,  and mangos.

Most of my shirts don't fit anymore...whether it's from my belly or my growing boobies.

another reason im ready for summer..so i can wear skirts and dresses and ditch the pants. 

I am so excited about next week. We have a 4d ultrasound scheduled. :)

our new place and more

The past week we've been busy putting little touches of love on our new place. It has been so nice to see it slowly becoming a home.  our home. 

I think we've been enjoying having our own kitchen again the most. 

We love cooking dinner together. 

We've even made it a point to clean up after every meal. 

Not sure how long this will last..lol

Next..is the living room. 

We've put up curtains..which made a huge difference in the room. 

We got a tv stand and of course the tv is set up lol 

We finally found a couch we like...but we will end up with a sectional eventually. :)

Now I'm on the look out for a side table for the couch and maybe a rug? 

The nursery is painted, the stuffed animal net is hung, we have a cool rug picked out..

the mattress was delivered today and the crib is on it's way. 

We still have to get some shelves and hubs has to finish painting the rest of the furniture. 

I can't wait till it's all done and ready for James. :)

It won't get much use for a month or two after he's born though. 

I am going to go back to Alabama to have him. 

I'll be going back in May to stay until after he's born. 

So yeah..as soon as I get all settled in here, I'll be leaving again...

but at least I'll get to spend the summer with my momma, aunt, and sis. 

Oh and some really great, wonderful news :D

Hubs is already being transferred to a better job.

as in a 20k more a year better job.

one where he gets to come home every night.

one where he works 8 days, then gets 4 off.

or if we want extra moola he can work overtime..

which he'll probably do while I'm home in May.

He won't have to get all nasty on an oil rig anymore. 

His poor clothes don't have to smell like oil anymore. lol

We are SO blessed and thankful that he has this opportunity. 

oh did i mention im so ready for summer?

got a few new things the other day.Even if I will be a whale I can TRY to still look cute. lol

busy busy

I'm still here. Just extremely busy! Last week while Hubs was off we took a road trip up to Oklahoma to find a place to live. We luckily found somewhere on our first day of looking and spent the rest of our trip in our new little home :). It didn't have a fridge or washer and dryer, because the place is brand new, so we got to go to lowes and make our first big purchase. What else did we buy? PAINT. James' nursery is already painted and ready to be stocked. lol so is our kitchen! I can't wait to get all of our stuff unpacked and go grocery shopping. It will be so nice to cook dinner together again.
Hubs had to go back to work on Thurs so I flew back to alabama and have been getting all of our belongings packed and ready to go. My dad and I are driving it to our new place Tuesday. Doing all of this and being 23 weeks pregnant is wearing me out! I'm gonna miss my momma and little sis, but I'll be back in a few weeks for my doc appointment. (we are having the baby in alabama..story for another post) Speaking of being 23 weeks along, I'm definitely feeling pregnant these days. Heartburn, stomach is getting tighter and a little uncomfortable, sleepy all the time..I can't believe how fast time is going by though. He'll be here before we know it!
I promise to start blogging more once we get moved and settled in. If anything I want somewhere to write about my pregnancy and after to keep memories of James' as a baby. Oh and I've gotten a few comments and I appreciate every one of them..just gotta figure out how to write you back! Not ignoring you..I swear! lol
